Hi AC,

Hey I've noticed that I can't change the theme for the SMF home (index.php) page. No matter what I change my theme to, that page is always Dragon Soul Reborn. I can change the colors of Dragon Soul Reborn though. All the other pages change, so maybe a permissions issue?

It should work now ,I was running a 4 July theme . When there is a holiday theme all change to that as default .

But check what you bookmarked because you may have saved the theme in your link .

No, this is different. If you hit the HOME button and go to the index.php page, that is always Dragon Soul. That kind of confuses me anyway, shouldn't FORUM be the "Home" for the Forum and HOME take you back to the http://riverofenlightenment.com page?

One other thing, when I'm viewing the forum on my laptop with a 1024x768 resolution (highest it will go) the full River links displayed in the News panel make the layout move back and forth because as it is so wide for that item. This makes it very hard to browse as part of the page goes off the screen and then comes back with the next News display. Maybe use TinyURL?

When Psipherious set up , he placed the folders like this . If the addy had been set up with each aspect nested in its own folder that would work . ie

river.com/forum
river.com/moodle
river.com/chat

But he set it up for free and I am grateful . I did ask him to fix this too .

Try closing the info center at the bottom of the page .

Try selecting another skin/theme and setting that as default .
Choose a low tech version without TP .

I found a Theme that works well, Space Sea v2.1. It still moves up and down a little but it's much better than flying off the screen. :)

Closing the Info Center doesn't help as it's the News panel that causes the movement.

I did not put Space Sea on the theme change box previously because it will not work with Tiny Portal . But you can go back to the home page and change it there to another theme and then set that in your profile as default . And I applied that themes to the skin selection box now for you .

I trialed the Tiny Portal on 5 different monitor sizes freom 1993 models to 2007 models . And I trialed it on Firefox and Internet Expllorer . The window should open able to see the entire left and middle column . To see the right column the slide bar can be applied . Perhaps you have set your screen to a very narrow range . In any case , I am happy that you found a theme that suits your ineeds .
