What are ways in which to protect yourself from possible dangers which might include entities and ill will? I would like to know how to sheild.
I seem to be an open channel when it comes to spirits and the unkown. I feel as though I am too susceptable to influence of psychic attack, manipulation, and possession...I feel as though my emotions have been broken down in a sense.
I have been trying to recover from some bad vibes, impressions, that I seem to pick up from objects. In particular anything that is old or used seems to carry strong vibes that drain my energy. Any advice on how to understand how an object can carry a certain vibe and how to cleanse the object so it can be used would be helpful. For example if I wear a certain necklace for too long it seems to carry weight or bad energy that causes chest pain when I wear it. I have been practicing trying to become more able to visualize, but am losing ground on anything concrete that would really be of use to protect me. I have had one impression before where I actually blanked out and had a vision after seeing a doll in an antique store. It seems that I get impressions from old things.     I am also unable to use psychic gifts because I am unable to stop or start it at will and I am unable to protect myself against psychic influence or telepathic sending ...
 I am wondering if there's anyone who might be able to give me advice on methods of energy protection.

I have been curious about the same thing.I always experience stuff when practicing and i freak out and think i'm being attacked but i'm really not sure what i'm experiencing

for instance last night i experienced a trance state after meditating before sleep.i felt like i was being crushed by pressure,i felt like parts of me were being invaded by pressure and i heard/felt a almost violent wind or swirling on my body.mainly my left side

anyhow i reacted instinctivly by pushing/willing against it  trying to push it off of me,but really I have just gotten sick of this and  somewhat let go and let it do what it wants,it felit like a whirlwind crashing against my left side of my body concentrating on the heart and head.the only felt a slight band of it go from left to right at my stomic,then i came to assume that this wasn't a entity  but just a hyper sensative state and what i was experincing was coursing energy or even blood threw my left side the question is why can't i feel anything with my right side?I expeirenced a lot of negative stuff on my right side before so i'm not sure if its damaged or blocked but years of NEW haven't done a damn thing with the right
 side

the biggest problem is i just don't know and only have the option of continueing to practice and hope for a revelation in teh future

That sounds to me like the type of exit symptoms you get when you haven't projected in a while or are trying to force a projection.  Even if you weren't trying to on purpose, something wasn't "in synch" and you were having 'resistance' vibrations and sounds.

That I have no clue about, except that your problem could be physical, like nerve problems.  Do you find diminished sensitivity in the physical, or only with energy sensations/work?

Have Aunt Clair give you an energy body reading, and maybe she can tell you if you have any major blocks.  See?  There's always something you can try.

Usually that indicates a blockage of some kind. Because the energy body is so vast yet so compact i could only sagest that you continue doing energy exercises. The second thing that usually causes discomfort is a parasite that you have picked up from someone else or when you have been doing work.

What you are experiencing is something that i too experience. My left arm often feels paralyzed, due to the lack of feeling from energy, and it can be a discomfort. I know the reason why I cant feel 'much' energy around or in my left arm is because of a wound that was left by an arch demon and consequently as the result of a battle between myself and the previous wolf master. Now, the only time I feel any spiritual phenom' is when a negative entities is around myself or with in a radius of me.

Its interesting enough because i have a friend who only recently told me that when there is a neg around she feels this buzzing sensation on her right shoulder. Again there is a link between my left arm and her right shoulder buzzing/burning. We call this the "warriors wound", and as i have said before it lets you know when something not so nice is around you.
Over the years i have trained myself to inter prate the different kinds of energy from most kinds of negs and because of that i trained myself and my left arm to buzz/burn in different places depending on the kind of neg. Mind you that took a lot of time :).

I can only suggest that you meditate, remove Every link to and from you. sit in a peaceful state of mind and concentrate on your whole body until you fill well connected to your body and your right arm. If this does work i can only speculate that you are half in and half out of your body. Meaning your in the middle of a projection of some kind.
the reasons why this could be happening is your not grounded to your physical body, you lose concentration easily, day dream a lot and you are a thinker, and one that likes to shift there awareness to the back of the head and deal with things there.

try doing that a few times a day and see how it goes. I'm guessing that it shouldn't take more than a couple of days to get it right and connect to your own body and know what that connection feels like.

Take it or leave it but it sounds to me like this could relate to your core issue, Its the learning path that you have made for yourself in this life - like the tarot it is divided into 4 issues of life
*cups - water/ swords - air / staff - fire / pentacles - money etc.
We all have one of these things to focus on in our life yours being a combo of cups Relating to emotion and air Relating to your mind.I believe you are taking on the energy of air to fight a problem with water.another way of saying it is you are using your intellect to fight a problem with your heart. I hope this made sense to you.

I feel this was my spiritual problem...first off I had not been open to ideas of Chakras or Energy or Spirit Bodies.
But after exploring, things made at least some sense. I worked on meditating on the base Root Chakra for grounding, But I believe my areas of suffering was in my sacral chakra: http://www.reiki-for-holistic-health.com/chakra-diagram.html


I have grown much stronger the Chakras, my weakest appears to be the Solar Plexus and my Strongest appears to me The Crown Chakra. Hence I identify more with intelligence, spiritual awareness, and  than  in power, responsibility, and self-image.

I have been have less of the Sacral as well as the Heart Chakra area and possible overabundance in the area of the Root Chakra, or at least they seem they had been imbalanced from the Winter month and having less time with nature...


As far as using my intellect to fight something with the heart. I believe that to be false...I don't think this is the case.
I don't know why this object- now lost- affected me in such a way, but it taught me the power of intelligence over emotional destruction...and spiritual Idolatry.

Yet to overcome the emotional pain I had to guide my emotions carefully and I learned to decipher between love and hate, truth and lies...I think that these are tests which we must find a way to overcome if it is possible...I overcame the pain...because I turned to God, Love, The Spirit, and made my intentions known. I didn't let the hurt rule my life, the depression either, I acknowledge it as a spiritual sickness. and it is...hard to explain as well...but i did overcome it pretty much.

Darkness is there for a reason. I believe your choice and free will are deeper than what the human mind reveals. The soul is free, the body is not entirely free for there are things that get in the way. Materialism for one. Which is my biggest cause of suffering, although not realizing it when it is so prevalent in this culture...I am materialistic even with faith. It is not about preservation of objects, or things, it's about the hidden truth of willpower.


Sorry for that ramble.

I haven't been on here in so long, and have only just read your post realizing I still followed all this advice anyways.
Working on Chakras and such, but then I sort of took a break from all occult related or spirit related practice and focused on grounding in concepts and just basic reality.
Then I have begun to feel a drifting away from faith and spirit altogether, so I have been searching for profound insights and nothing seems to strike with me.
If you read up on my recent experience- you will notice I have been questioning everything, and the answers seem confusing.
The nightmares may have been cross between sleep paralysis-and the Shadow of my psyche...as well as spiritual darkness in this mix.
Fighting it required Angelic Assistance, Prayer, Meditation, Peace, Friendships, Lots of concentration and really reasoning with things.
The first thing was to deny the existence of evil or entities, so I was fearless. and now as I ponder things, I let myself question things i forced myself not to question so it would just leave me alone.

But it is important to question things...


When in an altered state of awareness you confront your own hidden demons, aspects of your personality otherwise kept concealed within the shell of your mindset and patterns that you repeat...your mask, and your identity is also partially masked...
so when you alter your awareness you see aspects of reality that are otherwise masked, and confront those demons that you have built yourself...or have come to arise out of society's influence, culture, etc.

That's what I think the Shadow is, not an astral entity entirely but a mixture of the Self's relationship with the Spirit and the Mind.

That is a little dense maybe, hope I made some sense.

Now, to me this seems like it is related to shifting your awareness to areas of the mind and body you have yet to reach. It could be a test of strength, and you should figure out the cause of it and analyze all the details of what the experience is to you.
Astral Entities to me seem to be a mixture of the Mind-Self and Spirit-Self

and Other-Outside Influences... dark shadows, creatures that are created through all sorts of odd circumstances in our natural world
can become attached, and can influence us...create sadness and destruction to fulfill whatever purpose the think they are fulfilling.
Spirits can become fragmented, damaged, and become viruses that spread and infect other spiritual presences...and feed upon a week spirit as well. This is my speculative perspective on it.

I don't know this for certain nor take everything i have written to heart, merely stating speculations.
Possibly, you are out of balance...and this influence is of  struggles of a Nature Spirit

If you are strong in the Areas of nature and communicating with Nature- animals, plants, the environment, and are strong in empathy....it may be time to ground yourself in
The basic fundamentals of Nature Magick and control of the astral and physical elements in nature.

I dont know why I think this could be the case, but the intensity seems similar to mine...and I realized that when I got in touch with
Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, and Ether...and balanced my Chakras as well as stayed in good health it all went back to normal... I evolved spiritually too and now have learned how to survive a circumstance...with my own inner guidance and instincts.
