Recently, I have been having a problem with the apostrophe.  From what I have seen in peoples posts, they have also.  To wit, an apostrophe is a quote (") with one tick.

If you put an apostrophe in your post, it will change it to a quote (").  If you edit your post later, it will change your quotes to more quotes, such that you can end up with something like: I""""ve.

Can someone else confirm that I am not the only one having this problem?  I have been omitting/avoiding apostrophes since the problem has been making my posts messy.

Let''''s see- It''''s acting normal  in preview for me, but when the post goes through it changes it, and I have IE.   That''''s weird.

I noticed it on my last post, I^¹m using Firefox I just tried something I hadn^¹t thought of I copy and pasted the apostrophe from the character map program on windows, maybe, just maybe that^¹ll work, figured I^¹d give it a shot but I^¹m getting tired of ctrl ving everytime I want an apostrophe

For fun IÙ¡ve also tried a character that kinda looks like an apostrophe but I don^¹t like it. It^¹s weird, noone else has any reason to do this, but after I submitted the post I pasted the apostrophe again and it pasted as 3 apostrophies making this the weirdest keyboard character problem I^¹ve ever seen. But out of complete and total boredom I played around with the characters till I found the superscript 1 character in the character map and then sized it to 5 pts and put it in superscript to make it look like an apostrophe :) only on Sunday would I do this...  If you copy and paste the apostrophes here, (which are really just small superscript 1s) and do the aforementioned it^¹ll work if its bugging you as much as it was bugging me :) so copy and past my little 1, superscript, size 5 and copy all of that text, then paste it as apostrophe, I^¹m going to go do something constructive now..

I only noticed it being a problem after our personalized themes were disabled.  Maybe it is only a problem with the default theme, but I haven''t changed it yet to see (if it is possible to do so again).
